By car
Take the train to Locarno. Mostly this will include a change of trains in Bellinzona (and sometimes even in Arth-Goldau). More actual information you will find by clicking on the logo of the SBB.
Access to Brissago
By bus
From Locarno train stations you can take bus 311 of the FART (...yes, we know..., this stands for "Ferrovie Autolinee Regionali Ticinesi") to busstop: "Brissago, Posta". (Timetable is located next to this paragraph. Hotels Morettina, Rivabella are close to this busstop. Bellavista and Bresciano are up the hill.
To get to our house from there, you can decide to walk (30 minutes up hill) or take the local bus, Linea (line) 8 to busstop: "Brissago, Cagetto" and follow the road till you are at our house. (Please be aware that Linea 8 is a very infrequent connection, for time table, click to the right.
There are no public parking spaces direct in front of Casa Merlo, but there is some public parking in the environment:
